Male Waxing

No, it doesn’t hurt that bad!…

If you go in and you’re all tense and you’re thinking it’s going to be horrendously painful, it becomes a less enjoyable service.

Instead, get into your wax with a positive or, at least, a realistic attitude. It’s not going to be nearly as painful as it looks or sounds.

Many people prefer waxing over shaving for several reasons. Waxing removes hair from the root, so it can last for up to six weeks or more depending on how frequently you wax. Genetics, age, and other factors will depend on how long it personally lasts for you.

The effects of shaving, on the other hand, don’t last as long, and the process itself can be quite challenging (especially when it comes to your back, as its an extremely difficult place to shave without help.

Once you have had your back or chest waxed, we would advise against using heavily fragranced toiletries such as shower gel and body lotion on the freshly waxed area and don’t shower or have a hot bath for 24 hours to give your newly waxed skin a chance to settle down. A cool shower is preferred. Avoid swimming and vigorous exercise for 24 hours, and also avoid sun exposure and fake tanning for at least two days after waxing. If you sweat heavily into the open, irritated pores, you’re going to end up with acne.
